About/Contact

Ian Webb is a photographer of sports, culture and generally anything that captures his eye and interest. Based in Beijing for over six years he is originally from the UK, born in London but spiritually at home on the green hills and under the grey leaden skies of Wales. Recently he has been covering mostly extreme sports including work for Red Bull and the World Wingsuit League amongst others. This work has taken him across China and beyond, to the Olympic Games of London and Rio as well as Copenhagen and Jakarta covering BWF World Championships. In addition to sports he has worked with Food and Wine magazine for a reportage on Taiwanese food culture and has begun exploring documentary and interview work on a variety of subjects. He also has a great passion for landscape and street photography and has been published in and interviewed for many of the leading photography journals in addition to having a solo exhibition of sports photography at the Dali International Photography Festival and exhibiting work in Beijing and London.
